Close AI Content Gaps Fast

Scrape competitor articles, get a brief closing the exact gaps.

Command

Use the Peec MCP to pull the URL report broken down by prompt_id for the last 30 days. For each tracked prompt, identify cases where a competitor URL has a higher retrieval rate than our best-performing URL for the same prompt. Take the 5 prompts where the competitor advantage is largest. For each one, use Firecrawl to scrape both the top-ranking competitor page and our equivalent page. Do a structured gap analysis covering: topics in their article that are missing from ours, questions they answer that ours does not address, entities and data points they reference that we do not, and overall depth difference. Return one content brief per page with specific additions that would increase our information gain score relative to the competitor.

What this use case
can do for you

Information gain is how AI decides whether a piece of content adds something that already-cited sources do not. If your article covers the same ground as the page AI already trusts, adding another version of it does not move the needle. What moves the needle is demonstrating that your content covers dimensions the current top source misses: specific entities, particular questions, depth in a sub-topic, a data point that is not present elsewhere.

This workflow finds the exact gaps for your highest-priority prompts, scrapes both your article and the competitor's, and returns a content brief with the specific additions that would increase your information gain score. Not a checklist. A precise prescription.
